Geomen tangyi sonyeo oi (South Korea, 2007, 90’)
Young-lim, a nine-year-old girl, lives with her mentally handicapped elder brother Tong-gu and their father in a shabby village in the Kangwon province. When health reasons force him to leave his job as a miner, the father succumbs to depression and alcoholism. Following this incident, Young-limhas no other choice than to take over the family responsibilities.
