The film acknowledges these men, for the greater part enlisted by force, who came from colonised countries and played a crucial role during the Second World War. Ignored by textbooks and excluded from the big commemoration “shows”, they try nowadays to make this overshadowed page of History exist and testify with force and indignation of the way the French government ignores them.
