MARGEM ATLANTICA

France - 2006

Margem Atlântica invites us to meet artists of African descent who are living and creating in Lisbon. The former Port of Discoveries and capital of the Triangular Trade, this European metropolis is today the melting pot of a singular human and creative alchemy. These young artists who have come to Lisbon after the independence of the countries colonised by Portugal are white, black or mixed; they have become writers, actors, musicians in this town. They take us on an urban and film journey.
