(Mali, 1991, 100’)

In the South of Sahara, the rainy season drawns to a close. Despite the appearance of an abundant harvest, the little village of Farabougou is anxious. The cause ? The oracle has predicted a sudden drought and accompanying fires. For Sidy, a young forestry newcomer in the village of Bambara, this oracle marks the beginning of a long path of initiation.
