The Climb

France/New Zealand - 1997

Set in suburban Baltimore in the spring of 1959, Danny Hines, a athletic twelve- year-old kid is obsessed with proving his bravery. The main reason for this is the fact that his widower dad Earl, didn’t serve in World War II or the Korean War, and everyone in the neighborhood thinks that he was a draft dodger.
